Bence Baksa is a Hungarian-born Set and Costume Designer who received his training at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama.
His credits as a Designer include 'A Partnership' (King’s Head Theatre/UK Tour, 2022), 'Hyenas' (LAMDA, 2020), and 'Tartuffe' (Richard Burton Theatre, 2020).
As an Associate Designer working with Christopher Oram, Bence contributed to productions such as 'Turn of the Screw' (Santa Fe Opera, 2025); 'Quadrophenia' (Sadler's Wells/UK Tour, 2025); 'Alice in Wonderland' (Tulsa Ballet, 2024); 'Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil' (Goodman Theatre, Chicago, 2024); 'La Traviata' (Santa Fe Opera, 2024); 'Plateé' (Garsington Opera, 2024); 'The Artist' (Theatre Royal Plymouth, 2024); 'Backstairs Billy' (Duke of York’s Theatre, 2023); 'The Wreckers' (Houston Opera, 2022); and 'The Mirror and the Light' (Gielgud Theatre, 2021).
Future projects with Christopher Oram will include 'The Line of Beauty' (Almeida Theatre, 2025) and 'Romeo og Julie' (Den Norske Opera og Ballett, 2026)
In his role as Design Assistant to Tom Pye, Bence contributed to productions such as 'Paddington' (Savoy Theatre, 2025); 'Brokeback Mountain' (@SohoPlace, 2023); and 'The Hours' (Metropolitan Opera, 2022). He also served as a Junior Costume Assistant on 'Renegade Nell' (Disney+, 2024).
